Jack Wold, Partner
Jack Wold is co-owner and Partner of Wold Oil Properties, Inc. (WOPI), Whirlwind, LLC and American Talc Company. He is President of Riley Ridge, LLC, a natural gas venture with SB Energy Partners of Denver. RRLLC is engaged in the drilling of wells and the construction of a natural gas processing plan in Southwestern Wyoming. He also serves as Managing Director of Whirlwind, LLC, a wind energy development company with properties in central and southern Wyoming. Prior to joining WOPI in 1983, he was a Senior Geologist with Amoco Production Company and Area Geologist with BWAB, an independent oil and gas company in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Wold has served as President of the Wyoming Geological Association, President of the Rocky Mountain Section of the American Association of Geologists, a Director of the Petroleum Association of Wyoming and the Independent Petroleum Association of the Mountain States (IPAMS). He has served on the Boards of the First Interstate Bank of Wyoming, the Casper Rotary Club, YMCA, and Central Wyoming Boy Scouts. He was President and co-founder of the Business Advisory Committee on Education, the Classroom Wyoming Foundation, and past Chairman of the Natrona County School Board of Trustees. Mr. Wold serves on the Board of Trustees of Colorado College and the Taft School. He now manages the branch office in Denver, Colorado.
A graduate of Colorado College with a Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Mr. Wold received his Masters in Geology from Cornell University.
