Peter I. Wold President of Wold Oil Properties, Inc., has been appointed by Wyoming State Governor Dave Freudenthal to two different state boards as of February 2005.

Peter Wold will serve a three-year term on the newly created enhanced and Improved Oil Recovery Commission. The commission, which oversees the work of the Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute, an adjunct of the University of Wyoming, will develop programs to assess enhanced oil recovery (EOR) technology and research in recovery processes.  Mr. Wold will represent the oil and gas industry.
